DIY Tutorial and Free Pattern Easy Beginner Crochet Clutch Purse Evening Bag - and Hand Sew a Zipper and Lining
Materials:

4 balls of size 10 crochet thread. I like to use 2 light colors and 2 dark colors for a neat marble effect. Feel free to use 250 yards of light worsted weight yarn instead.
    F (3.75 mm) crochet hook
    9 inch zipper.
    1 piece of 8.5" x 11" craft felt
1 piece of plastic canvas (optional)
    Stitch marker (paperclip)
    Yarn needle
    Scissors
    Flower or other embellishments (optional)

Instructions:

Watch the Naztazia® YouTube video for assistance with this project.

Finished size = 10" wide by 6.5" high.

Purse: Make a slipknot. Chain 42.
Round 1: Skip first 3 chs. Make 1 dc in next ch and in each ch across. Total = 39 dc + 1 ch3 = 40 stitches. Pivot work. Make 40 dc on other side of chain.
Rounds 2-13+: Working in spirals, dc in each stitch around, marking first stitch. Total = 80 dcs each round. After rnd 3, ensure purse's width is 10 inches. Make as many rounds as needed to achieve 6.5" high. Do not cut/bind off yet.

Zipper: Sew zipper to craft felt.

Assembly:Insert lining into purse. Insert cut & measured plastic canvas in between lining and crochet fabric. Using existing loop, sc around the top, catching both the purse and the stitches from the zipper. Cut and weave in all ends. Sew or glue on embellishments.
